In your Bathroom - How to prevent and remove mildew?
-
- Mold and mildew grow on bathroom tiles and rout, shower curtains, walls and in any other damp, dark place.
- Keep a window open or use a fan to reduce moisture.
- After a steamy shower, leave the shower door or curtain open and the door to the room ajar.
- Spray mildew with a diluted bleach solution (one part bleach and four parts water) and let sit for half an hour.
- Scrub off, then rinse. Wear a mask and eye protections if you are sensitive to the fumes.
